“Exact Indefinite” – the Monte Pisano Oil Mill and the Art of Ilgeko

The Oil Mill, in its role as a multipurpose space, also opens its doors to local Artists, featuring the painting exhibition “Exact Indefinite” by Elena Rossi, known as Ilgeko.

THE EXHIBITION

Ilgeko introduces the event to us:

“Exact Indefinite” is our life,
when we accept to see it.

“Exact” because if we look at it from the right distance, we can see its harmony, its beauty.

“Indefinite” because the closer we get, the more we can find imperfections, mistakes, incompleteness.

“Exact Indefinite” invites us to abandon the desire and illusion of control, and embrace transformation, self-acceptance, love for connection with all things, our uniqueness.

In this exhibition, you will encounter “Exact Indefinite” in all my works, different materials such as acrylics, watercolors, rust, chameleon colors, inks…

Paintings that change like “Inhabited Matter”, inhabited by life in all its facets. Look at them from afar, up close, from the side, from different perspectives. Let them speak to you about yourself, because each of them contains you, welcomes you, amplifies you.

The event will be accompanied by a welcome and presentation of the Monte Pisano Oil Mill, featuring our EVO oils

Following this, and by reservation (€20), a tasting menu with oil pairings consisting of:

– Frisella with eggplant hummus, Tuscan ricotta cream, and fried onion (IGP Tuscan Oil Podere del Pari),

– Red rice salad with local curry-spiced zucchini and lime yogurt sauce (Organic Oil Monte Pisano Oil Mill)

– Fior di latte ice cream (Extra Virgin Olive Oil Monte Pisano Oil Mill).

Including water, white and red wine from “De Ranieri Winery”
