How to join
The Oil Mill has chosen StarsUp.it, an Italian equity crowdfunding platform authorized by Consob that allows startups and innovative SMEs to raise capital online, as its technical partner.
Here’s how it works: a company publishes its growth project on the platform and launches a campaign to raise funds. Anyone, even a small investor, can participate by purchasing a share of the company.
In exchange for the investment, you obtain a stake in the company’s capital, effectively becoming a shareholder. The entire process is transparent, regulated, and secure with all information available on the platform where you can find:

The Oil Mill today
The Monte Pisano Oil Mill has its roots in tradition but looks straight to the future. From a passion for nature and for “olive growing comes an ambitious project: to enhance the Monte Pisano territory through the production of excellent extra virgin olive oil”. Today, the oil mill has a new entrepreneurial vision, led by Leonardo Paolino, who has chosen to invest in innovation, quality, and sustainability.
We are much more than a processing plant: we are a stronghold of olive culture, a reference point for olive growers and enthusiasts, a laboratory where tradition and technology meet to create an oil capable of telling the story of our territory. We have renewed the machinery and production line, formed a highly qualified team, and built new synergies with institutions, producers, and local entities, with a clear goal: to produce the best possible EVO oil from the extraordinary olives of the Pisan Mountains.
In the completely renovated multipurpose room, we are ready to welcome a restaurant and a local products store, as well as host events proposed by us and external parties such as courses, exhibitions, and conferences.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil Production: Numbers, Awards, and Recognitions
In 2024, we pressed over 12,000 quintals of olives for third parties and produced 12,000 liters of EVO, ORGANIC, and PGI oil under our own brand.

The Monte Pisano Oil Mill offers a “wide range of services dedicated to olive growers and anyone interested in” high-quality extra virgin olive oil: pressing, storage and preservation, olive harvesting, bottling and labeling and many other agricultural and agronomic services.
We organize guided tours and tastings, workshops, and cultural events.
We already have active collaborations and research projects with the faculties of Engineering and Agriculture at the University of Pisa, with the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, and the Department of Agricultural, Food, and Environmental Sciences of Perugia.
Today, the Oil Mill is a place where the memory of those who came before us is preserved and where, with respect and determination, the future of Tuscan olive growing is being built.

Leonardo Paolino took over the old oil mill in 2024 and in just over a year has completely renovated it in both technical and real estate aspects, investing over 1 million euros to restore a high-quality service to the territory.
The prospects for growth and development are linked to a planned investment program that includes, in addition to strengthening the “production activity related to” high-quality EVO oil and its by-products, also the creation of spaces dedicated to training,“organizing events, and restaurant services focused on enhancing” EVO oil.
As Frantoio del Monte Pisano, we have decided to take the path of “equity crowdfunding because we firmly believe that alone you don't change, but together we make a difference. For us choosing” equity crowdfunding means financing growth, building relationships with a passionate community, and enhancing the “company's” identity in the market in a modern, transparent, and participatory way.
We have a great development idea that we would like many people to take part in, especially from the territory, to see it grow together. The Monte Pisano Oil Mill, in fact, is a strategic infrastructure for the area, a tourist attraction, and an economy generator.
Anyone who is 18 years or older can participate and become a partner of the Oil Mill.
The development plan includes total investments of over 600 thousand euros and expects to bring the “company's turnover to about 2 million euros in the next 5 years. According to these forecasts, the company will be able to remunerate the” investment of “crowdfunders” at an estimated gross annual rate of about 7.5%.

The Oil Mill has provided a specific incentive plan for various types of investors (olive grower, agricultural company, and financial investor) whose terms are illustrated in the previous videos, accurately described in the “Documentation” section on StarsUp.it and summarized below:
- Hobby olive growers: discounts on pressing, agronomic and commercial consulting, improved conditions for selling olives to the Oil Mill, free use of the oil mill facilities for one event per year, profit sharing at the end of the year.
- Agricultural companies: priority access, blockchain traceability, favorable conditions for “using a production line for highest quality EVO oil, favorable conditions for the management service of the” entire filtration, storage, bottling, labeling process, free use of the Oil Mill facilities for one event per year, profit sharing at the end of the year.
- Investors (investments above €5,000): discounts up to 20% on oil purchases, stays in affiliated farmhouses on Monte Pisano, personalized packaging, free use of the Oil Mill facilities for one event per year, profit sharing at the end of the year.
The minimum investment is €1,000.
The maximum limit is given by the residual offer at the time, considering the maximum ceiling of €400,000.
Absolutely yes, investments are planned for the “purchase of machinery and structures to support and improve the oil mill's business lines. For example, we mention greater productivity and quality of the pressing line, the” preparation of spaces dedicated to catering or events, and the creation of a typical products store.

Yes, the first 50 investors, regardless of the subscription amount, will receive a Welcome Kit consisting of:
- Supply of one 0.5L bottle of each of the oils produced by the Oil Mill (PGI, ORGANIC, 100% EVO, a total of 3 bottles) and a 5L package of EVO oil from those produced by the Oil Mill and available at the time of collection.
- Free registration and participation in an introductory course to “EVO oil tasting” organized by the Oil Mill.
Platform and investment
Like all investments, acquiring shares of the Oil Mill is subject to legal requirements designed to protect investors.
During registration, you will be asked to complete some self-assessment forms, required by law, about your skills and investment capacity.
You will immediately see the results of the tests and, regardless of the result obtained, you can in any case proceed and participate in the crowdfunding.
The procedure takes about 30 minutes because, by law, it is necessary to fill out a series of self-assessment documents included for the protection of investors. Let's not forget that we are participating in a project through which you will acquire a company share of the Oil Mill, so your protection is fundamental.
You need to have with you:
- identification document (valid ID card, passport, or driver's license)
- mobile phone
- active and accessible email address
- SPID (or alternative procedure with ID document and email)
- access to your internet banking
These documents will be requested during the procedure.
For your convenience, if you wish, you can also do everything in two steps:
- The first to register, fill out the investment documents, and take the self-assessment tests
- The second, using your internet banking, to purchase your participation share

The investor profile and self-assessment test are configured by law with very strict parameters for strong protection of individuals. Regardless of this result, you can still proceed and deposit the funds you deem appropriate to participate in the project.
StarsUp only stores the data strictly necessary to make the investment. Other data, such as those entered during the evaluation questionnaire (income, capital, financial capacity, etc.) are not stored but only used for the purpose of the self-assessment test.
Your data is protected by stringent privacy regulations and is never disclosed to third parties or government entities.
Certainly, the 2024 balance sheet and the economic-financial statement are available on the StarsUp.it platform after registration.
The only way to make the investment is through the platform, authorized by Consob, StarsUp.it and following the guided procedure.
