The most anticipated event of the year at the oil mill is approaching: the olive harvest and pressing! To celebrate together, at Frantoio del Monte Pisano we are organizing three days full of events, tastings, meetings, and shows in collaboration with Pro Loco of Agnano and Pro Loco of Uliveto Terme. We’ll announce the dates very soon, scheduled between late September and early October.

What to expect from this festival?

First and foremost, community involvement, starting with school children, local associations, and residents. Along with guided educational tours and talks about extra virgin olive oil, there will certainly be great food at the food stand managed by Pro Loco of Agnano, featuring dishes that highlight the freshly pressed oil.

The event will feature guided tours of the production line, samples and tastings, and a dedicated space for producers with information about the new olive oil season, the Mill’s projects, particularly the equity crowdfunding, as well as olive pressing reservations.

We’re also organizing shows and walks to strengthen the deep connection with the territory and rediscover the history, tradition, and life of Monte Pisano’s olive growers across past, present, and future. Plus, there will be stands and a market featuring local excellence in typical products and crafts.
